Individual Viral Advert Idea:
Viral Marketing idea:
My viral marketing idea is to release a 'wanted' poster featuring the character Lily across several social media outlets such as Twitter and Facebook. This would create hype as audiences would be confused in regards to who Lily is. Upon searching the link at the bottom 'www.lilythemovie.co.uk', also featured on our film poster, they would discover the truth behind the marketing ploy and influenced to share the image.

Individual research into Viral Advertisements:
Viral marketing translates to marketing techniques that use pre-existing social networking services and other technologies to try to produce increases in brand awareness or to achieve other marketing objectives (such as product sales).
A recent example is the viral marketing used to spread information about 'Humans' (Created by Sam Vincent & Jonathan Brackley, 2015). 'Humans' is a British-American science fiction television series, with the first season debuting on 14 June 2015 on Channel 4 and AMC, and concluding on 2 August 2015. Written by the British team Sam Vincent and Jonathan Brackley, based on the award-winning Swedish science fiction drama Real Humans, the series explores the themes of artificial intelligence and robotics, focusing on the social, cultural, and psychological impact of the invention of anthropomorphic robots called "synths.
'Humans' advertised these synthetic bots on the internet as though they were reality including using social media such as facebook; Persona Synthetics. This created mass panic as people turned to the internet to share their thoughts on the new creation. This form of viral communication provided free advertisement for the show. When viewers searched for the 'synthetics' site they realised it was an advertisement scheme for the science fiction show 'Humans'.
